ULS Community unites with Mary; Fr. Soriano: ‘The heart of Reconciliation is a Call to Communion’

With the theme, “Reconciliation: Communion of Communities” the whole university which comprises the Grade School, High School and the College Department gathered together last September 19, 2017, at the ULS New Gymnasium to celebrate the 171st Year Apparition of Our Lady of La Salette.

Rev. Fr. Rosano Soriano, MS, the Provincial Superior of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette was the main celebrant of the event together with his co-celebrants Rev. Fr. Franklin Picio, MS, Ph.D; Rev. Fr. Francis Tamani, MS; Rev. Fr. Danilo Galang, MS, MA; Rev. Fr. Stevan Munar, MS, STL; Rev. Fr. Sergio Ganado, MS and Rev. Fr. Martin Peralta, MS.

In his homily, Fr. Soriano emphasized the essence of communion and establishing connection in fostering a deeper sense of community life as it makes a huge difference to the lives of every individual, he also reiterated how important reconciliation is- to have a community that extends help and unites together to achieve common goals.

He also shared some of his inspiring stories as a missionary in serving the community.

Rev. Fr. Franklin Picio, the University President, extended his greetings and wished everyone a happy and a meaningful celebration of the Foundation Anniversary.
