ULS Conducts Mentoring Session on Scopus‑Indexed Journal Publishing

The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) conducted a mentoring session on writing and publishing in Scopus‑indexed journals on June 2–3, 2026, at the CPD Function Room.

Madeilyn B. Estacio, Ph.D.,Vice President for Academic Affairs, organized the activity, which was participated by faculty researchers and staff, office heads, and deans to improve their research writing competencies.

Topics discussed during the sessions included publication standards of Scopus‑indexed journals, research manuscript writing, journal selection, and strategic use of Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Darin Jan Tindowen from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office II (CHED RO II) served as the resource speaker.

The activity also included presentations on AppliedHE and UI GreenMetric Ranking preparations as part of the university’s internationalization initiatives.

The mentoring session was conducted in partnership with the Research Office and the External Affairs and International Relations Office.
