ULS-CCJE Launches Project MENTOR to Boost Criminology Exam Pass Rates

The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS), through the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and in partnership with the Association of Criminology Students (ACS), launched Project MENTOR at the ULS Audio-Visual Room on October 20, 2026.

The program aims to raise major examination passing rates by at least 25% by the end of the academic year by engaging 100% of criminology students.

Specifically targeting 22 students identified as academically at-risk, the initiative delivers comprehensive faculty-led review sessions for all CCJE classes prior to Preliminary, Midterm, and Final Examinations. Faculty experts in Forensic Science also provide free, specialized laboratory tutoring to strengthen practical investigative skills.

Operating through a faculty-led framework, Project MENTOR mobilizes 45 ACS student volunteers who provide structured peer tutoring during designated open and consultation hours.

“Hindi lang ito para sa accreditation kundi ito ay daan upang mapataas pa ang board examination ratings ng ating kolehiyo at matulungan kayong mas maging handa sa lahat ng examinations at para maging globally-competent tayong lahat,” Jenor Jeff D. Follante, RCrim, project proponent, said.
