The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Chi Nan University (NCNU) of Taiwan on May 6, 2026, to strengthen academic collaboration and international engagement between the two institutions.

Under the MOU, both institutions agreed to promote collaboration among faculty members, administrative staff, departments, and research units, with several areas of cooperation identified. These include joint research and academic activities, faculty and student exchange programs, information sharing such as research publications and library resources, study tour initiatives, and potential joint degree programs subject to further agreements.

The agreement is non‑binding and will remain valid for five years, with specific projects and arrangements to be developed through supplementary agreements as both institutions pursue mutually acceptable initiatives.
The MOU was signed by Madeilyn B. Estacio, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, accompanied by Rouel Ramirez, DPA, Director of External Affairs and International Relations, and Dr. Dong‑Sing Wuu, President of National Chi Nan University.
This partnership marks another step in ULS’ continuing efforts to strengthen its international linkages and expand opportunities for students, faculty, and institutional development through global collaboration.
