BAGUIO CITY — Salettinian talents earned recognitions at the recently concluded 18th Annual Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism (HRT) Month and 16th National Food Showdown last October 9-11, 2025 held at Baguio Country Club, Baguio City.

Students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management programs proudly represented the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS), earning various awards in tourism and hospitality-related competitions.

The results are as follows:

BRONZE – Travel and Tours: Jungle Journey (Student Division). Representatives: Doreen Joyce Alejo and Raven Aiseah Lizardo. Faculty Coach: Jhon Eliah Coronel.

Overall 8th – HRT Quiz Bee (Student Division). Representatives: Alphonse Julian, Hannah Kimberly Borromero, and Jayson Pascua. Faculty Coach: Jhon Eliah Coronel.

BRONZE – Event Planning (Student Division). Representatives: Mylene Bea Dumrique, Jainie Mae Lagrio, James Angelo Jimenez, and Nicaella Rodulfo. Faculty Coach: Ryan D. Racca.

BRONZE – Table Set-up (Student Division). Representatives: Artemio Donald Mamauag, Izhelle Ann Corpuz, and Nikka Valencia. Faculty Coach: Myca Bueno.

DIPLOMA AWARDEE – Panghimagas: Pineapple Flambé (Student Division). Representative: John Bryce Ali. Faculty Coach: Ivy A. Bartido.

DIPLOMA AWARDEE – Cocktail Mixing: Lasing Pinoy (Student Division). Representative: Cesar M. Cordero Jr. Faculty Coach: Ivy A. Bartido.

SILVER – Floral Design Centerpiece (Professional Division). Representative: Jaybee Baccay.

This annual event was organized by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio (HRAB) that gathers various colleges and universities across the Philippines to compete in a range of industry-based skills competitions.
