Barangay Nabbuan Recognizes ULS for Community Engagement

SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela — Barangay Nabbuan recognized the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) for its community engagement through the La Salette Pananagutan Center with the passage of Barangay Resolution No. 15, Series of 2025.

The resolution was presented on Monday, September 15, at 10 a.m. at the Nabbuan Barangay Hall. Present were Barangay Captain Hon. Rolando Tablada, barangay officials, SK Chairperson Rina Christille Joy Cabotaje, and Nabbuan Integrated School representative Marivic Manuel. Representing ULS were University President Rev. Fr. Franklin G. Picio, MS, Ph.D.; Vice President for Academic Affairs Madeilyn B. Estacio, Ph.D.; External Affairs and Linkages Director Marjorie Magbitang, MPA; Community Extension and Outreach Director Bernard Joseph Ariola; Engr. Jerome Mamuri of the College of Engineering and Architecture; and student representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Medicine and Allied Medical Programs.

Honorable Tablada thanked ULS for its support and service to the community. Fr. Picio expressed gratitude to Barangay Nabbuan for its collaboration with the university and said the community can now be considered part of the Salettinian family. Manuel, representing Nabbuan Integrated School, said the services extended by ULS benefited both students and teachers.

The resolution reaffirmed the commitment of Barangay Nabbuan and ULS to continue programs in education, and community development.
