ULS CBE Facilitates MOA, Business Registration in Brgy. Nabbuan

Students from the College of Business Education (CBE) of the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) attended the receiving of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and the registration of a community enterprise under the SaletinoNAK: Negosyong Abot Kaya project on May 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Barangay Nabbuan, Santiago City.

The activity involved the transfer of raw materials and equipment to partner residents of Barangay Nabbuan to support the production of a mongo chips livelihood enterprise, along with the registration of the business with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The initiative was implemented by CBE students with assistance from Barangay Kagawad Ginalyn Bayaua, who supported the coordination of the activity at the barangay level.

Don Sergs Laureta, LPT and Jaypee Fernan Ramirez, MBA, CBE faculty members, were present during the activity.

The project forms part of the university’s community extension efforts aimed at supporting local livelihood development and small enterprise formation in partner communities.
