The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) participated in the signing of the HLU–WURI Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMOU) 2026 on Global University Innovation and Cooperation, held on May 7, 2026, during the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Annual Conference and WURI Global Rankings Ceremony.

The MMOU brings together universities worldwide under a shared framework aimed at advancing innovation‑driven higher education and global academic collaboration.
ULS was represented by Madeilyn B. Estacio, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with Rouel Ramirez, DPA, Director of External Affairs and International Relations.
The multilateral MOU establishes a platform for participating institutions to collaborate in various areas, including joint research and innovation initiatives, educational program development, academic exchange for faculty, researchers, and students, and knowledge sharing of best practices in higher education.
The agreement is non‑binding and will remain in effect for five years, serving as a general framework for collaboration among participating institutions, with specific initiatives to be implemented through subsequent arrangements.
The signing of the HLU–WURI Multilateral MOU marks ULS’ continued participation in global academic networks and reinforces its engagement in international platforms focused on innovation, research, and higher education development.
