SANTIAGO CITY – University of La Salette, Inc. conducted Project: ABKD, Awareness of Bombs that Kill lives and Destroy properties, seminar today, December 12, at the ground floor of the CPD building.
The event was organized by the Office of the Student Services and Affairs, and Security Services and Facility Management Office in coordination with the Philippine National Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal and Canine (PNP EOD K9) Group which aims to prepare the Salettinian community for Bomb Threats attack.




“Ginugulo lang tayo. Gusto lang nilang manira,” said PCMS Segundino Tamayao to explain the purpose why people send Bomb Threats.
PCMS Tamayao also said that Santiago City has experienced bomb threats in the past weeks including the recent attack in the XFM station and other areas in the city but the speaker claimed that they did not find bombs during their search.
When asked about the punishment that will be imposed to a minor or mentally disabled person who violated a false bomb threat, the Police Chief said that there would be a process that will determine their punishment.
False Bomb Threat is a Philippine Law Violation under the Presidential Decree No. 1727 and violators can be punished with five years imprisonment, a fine of 40,000 pesos, or can be both.
