As part of the 20th year celebration of the institution as a University, the University of La Salette, Inc. through its administration and the Human Resource Management Office spearheaded the SINGKAD: Gabi ngPagkilala at Pasasalamat last June 25, 2018 at ULS Center for Professional Development.
The program aims to gather and give recognitions to the office heads, deans, faculty members, and staff who served the university for five years and more, to set an inspiration to the newly hired employees to continue their quest in the university.
The University’s top administrators together with the Provincial Director Rev. Fr. Rosanno P. Soriano, MS were present during the event to confer the awards and to receive their Distinguished Administrator Award given by the Non-Teaching Personnel Officers and the office of the University of La Salette Employees’ Association.
Among the recipients of the said award are: Rev. Fr. Franklin G. Picio, MS, Ph.D., the University President; Frev. Fr. Pedro Q. Dolar, MS, Vice President for Administration; Rev. Fr. DaniloGalang, MS, Vice President for Finance; Rev. Fr. Stevan G. Munar, the University Chaplain; and, Bro. Henry Siat, Physical Plant Director.
Awards were divided into four: Sikhay (5-10 years of service); Tungtungan (15-20 years of service); Tanglaw (25 years of service)and; the Lifetime Service Award for retired- rehired employees.
The night was filled with celebration and inspiration as the university recognizes the backbones who have served and helped the institution into where it is now.
The said activity is directed through the help of the Student Executive Council and Office of the Student Services and Affairs as organizers of the program.#
