Students from the College of Business Education (CBE) of the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) participated in Kapatid Mentor Young Entrepreneurs (KMYE) 2026: SCALE—Strengthening Capabilities and Accelerating Leadership for Entrepreneurship on September 24, 2026, at the RG 3rd Floor Lobby of the Salettinian Mission Complex to learn practical knowledge on business establishment, registration, and entrepreneurship.
Participants included third-year Financial Management and Marketing Management students enrolled in Entrepreneurial Management under Don Sergs Elyser A. Laureta, LPT, CMMS, and fourth-year Financial Management and Marketing Management students enrolled in Feasibility Study under Epraim E. Abat, MBM.
Agnes C. Ambrosio, DPA, Dean of the College of Business Education, Randolph B. Cacacho, OIC/SVTIDS of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Santiago City Satellite Office, and Shynne Cecille C. Arao, STIDS of the DTI Santiago City Satellite Office were also present during the event.
Cris Wella Grace L. Buyagao, TIDA of the DTI Santiago City Satellite Office, discussed business startup, sustainability, and business name registration.
The program also included a mentoring session on entrepreneurial mindset and business experiences with Regine M. Acuña, owner of Janijin Food Products, and Christian Paulo R. Magsino, owner of BH Roque Integrated Farm.
The activity provided students with information on business registration, enterprise development, and experiences of local entrepreneurs, complementing their coursework in entrepreneurial management and feasibility studies.
