ULS Hosts Five‑Day MikroTik Bootcamp Training

The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) conducted a five‑day MikroTik Bootcamp Training from May 27 to 31, 2026, bringing together students, faculty members, and professionals for networking skills development.

The training was attended by 15 participants, including 11 Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students, two faculty members from the College of Information Technology (CIT), and local professionals.

The bootcamp was facilitated by Mr. Roy Pamitalan of Queenslink Technology Inc., who delivered lectures and hands‑on laboratory sessions covering networking topics such as routing, network configuration, and user management.

At the end of the program, 13 participants took the certification examination, with all examinees successfully passing internationally recognized MikroTik certifications, including:

MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate)

MTCRE (MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer)

MTCUME (MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer)

The successful examinees were: Daryll Mark C. Abella, AJ Karl M. Ancheta, Kristian Paul A. Bigornia, Jess Andrei S. Bisquera, Nickolai E. Garcia, Mike Albert R. Gazil, Trishea Andrea P. Liwanag, Christian Jaylord S. Lumanog, Chelsea Leigh M. Pascua, Bryan Lloyd T. Tan, Aaron Jelo E. Viste, and Jefferson T. De Guzman.

Pamitalan emphasized the relevance of the training, noting that it provides participants with technical networking skills and industry‑recognized certifications that can support future employment opportunities.

The activity also supports ULS’s role as a MikroTik Academy partner, contributing to continuing training programs within the institution.
