The ULS Psychological Society (PSYSOC) conducted a community extension activity for Grade 10 students of Nabbuan Integrated School on February 13, 2026, focusing on promoting emotional well‑being.
The activity, held at the school campus, was organized by PSYSOC in coordination with the La Salette Pananagutan Center (LSPC) and the Nabbuan Integrated School faculty. It aimed to provide students with basic knowledge and strategies for managing emotions.

The discussion was led by Julien Faye Kimayong, a fourth‑year Psychology student, under the theme “Fostering Emotional Well‑being.” Kimayong discussed emotional regulation and outlined steps students can take to manage stress and emotional responses.
According to Prince Errol Manuel, Governor of the College of Arts and Sciences, the activity helped students better understand their emotions and apply coping strategies in daily situations.
Meanwhile, Maynard Jay Dayag, fourth‑year Psychology student representative, said the activity encouraged students to develop sensitivity toward themselves and others and to increase awareness of mental health concerns.
The activity was supported by PSYSOC members and fourth‑year Psychology student volunteers as part of the university’s community extension program.
