SANTIAGO CITY — The Instructional Media Center (IMC), in collaboration with the Community Extension Office, Graduate School, and the Student Executive Council, spearheaded the School Book Donation and Storytelling outreach activity with the theme “BOOKlod: pULSo ng Saletino, handog BOOKlat, Tinig ng Karunungan,” held at Nabbuan Integrated School (NIS) on December 1, 2025.
Emmanuel T. Mendoza, RL, MLIS, Director of the IMC, introduced the book donation drive and emphasized the importance of books in making knowledge accessible in the community.




Janelle Anne Magday and Shanel Musa facilitated the storytelling activity through an interactive retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty and the Beast, highlighting the moral lessons in the stories.
“Itong programang ito ay nakakatulong sa mga kabataan dahil natuto sila at lumalawak ang kanilang kaalaman,” said Musa in an interview, expressing appreciation for the activity and its role in promoting reading among the youth.
The activity is one of the events organized by the IMC in celebration of the 91st National Book Week.
