ULS Facilitates Drug Awareness Seminar at Nabbuan Integrated School

The ULS Junior Philippine Pharmacists Association (JPPhA) conducted a community extension program on drug awareness for Grade 9 students at Nabbuan Integrated School on February 13, 2026.

The seminar, themed “Informed Choices, Healthy Futures: A Drug Awareness Campaign for Grade 9 Students,” was led by Princess Ronneil Domingo and Alliyah Zyrelle Pascual and focused on drug misuse and substance abuse.

Domingo said the topic was relevant to Grade 9 students, citing their increased exposure to peer pressure and risky behaviors. She emphasized that the activity aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and to help students protect their health, maintain positive relationships, and focus on their academic and personal development.

The speakers also discussed illegal substances, including their risks and effects, and provided information on where students can seek help if they are tempted to engage in or wish to stop harmful habits.
