The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Regional Office II, in collaboration with the SPUP, spearheded and opened the activity to all institutions in the region as per the recommendation of the recently concluded student congress.
The event included sessions featuring topics on “Youth Leadership in a Globalized Higher Education Landscape” and “Student Academic Mobility as a Pathway to Global Leadership,” followed with simulations and workshops, deepening the learnings of the participants.
Abiendo, a 4th-year nursing student, shared his realizations and appreciation for the activity. “Binigyan nila ng meaning ang efforts natin na student leaders because we’re not just doing our job but we are giving back to the community,” he said.
The bootcamp is a historic event, coinciding with the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiaty Education (UniFAST), promoting global leadership and internationalization programs.
