CAS Faculty Badua, Bagain Attend National ASSETT Convention in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY — Monina P. Badua, LPT, MAEd, MAPsy, and Rochelle C. Bagain, PhD, faculty members of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), attended the National Convention of the Association of Social Sciences Educators for Tradition and Treasures of the Philippines, Inc. (ASSETT of the Philippines, Inc.) held on December 4–5, 2025, at Hotel 456, Baguio City.

The convention, organized by ASSETT and recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), featured the Academic and Creative Writing Seminar with the theme “Style, Substance, & Power: The ABCs of Academic and Creative Writing.” The seminar was facilitated by the Kapisanan ng mga Filipinong Awtor at Manunulat sa Pilipinas, Inc. (KAFAMPI).

The activity aimed to strengthen the capabilities of social science educators in developing instructional materials and improving the quality of teaching delivery.
