The College of Medicine and Allied Medical Programs (CMAMP), together with the Medical Laboratory Science Department, Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students-ULS Chapter, and the CMAMP Student Volunteers Association, in partnership with the Southern Isabela Medical Center, once again launched the annual Dugong Saletino: Mobile Blood Donation Drive, held at the Hospital Building C, today, November 21, 2025.

Now in its 28th year, the program continues its mission of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. With the theme “Dugo mo’y kailangan: Dugo mong dumadaloy sa iyong bisig ang siyang magiging tulay upang magsalba ng buhay,” the event highlights the importance of every single blood donation in giving hope and extending life to patients in need.
Students, faculty, and community members participated and contributed in this initiative with over 300 successful blood donations.

Organizers emphasized that donating blood is not only an act of compassion but also a way of strengthening the bond between the university and the community.
