INTRAMUROS, MANILA — The Salettinian Publication (TSP), the official student publication of the University of La Salette, Inc., participated in The Manila Times Masterclass titled “Breaking News: A Masterclass on News Delivery and Persuasion in the Digital Age,” held at The Manila Times headquarters, Soriano Avenue on October 25.

The session was facilitated by Ezrah Abad-Raya, a journalist and anchor of The Manila Times Newscast, who discussed the art of persuasive storytelling and the fundamentals of TV newscasting.

TSP’s Editor-in-Chief Julien Faye Kimayong, Associate Editor Frederick Martin, and Chief Broadcaster Mark Cylex Agustin, together with moderator Joel P. Bembo, attended the workshop as part of the publication’s continuing commitment to enhancing journalistic skills in both print and digital media.

The masterclass was also attended by professional journalists, publication advisers, and student journalists from various universities. Participants were trained in writing broadcast scripts and delivering news in the digital age.
