ULS Conducts Annual Earthquake and Fire Drill

SANTIAGO CITY — The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) conducted its annual Earthquake and Fire Drill today, October 22, at the University Open Field to enhance disaster preparedness among Salettinian students and personnel.

The activity formed part of the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen awareness and readiness in response to calamities that have recently affected various parts of the country.

Students from different college departments, along with senior high school students, non-teaching personnel, and food vendors, participated in the drill. A short simulation exercise demonstrated proper evacuation procedures and safety measures during earthquakes and fire incidents.

Red Cross volunteers were also present to assist and ensure the safety of participants throughout the activity.
