ULS, UNPAZ Seal Partnership Through Collaborative Meeting, MOA Signing

SANTIAGO CITY — The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) and the Universidade da Paz (UNPAZ) of Timor-Leste held a collaborative meeting and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 22, 2025, at the ULS President’s Boardroom.

The UNPAZ delegation was led by Luis Tavares Pereira Cardoso, Dip.Cs., Lic.CSH., MA., Mcs, Vice Rector for Internal and External Affairs; Fernando Dias Gusmao, S.IP., MAP, Dean of the Faculty of Social Science and Humanity; and Joao Francisco Maia, Lic.CSH., MD, Head of the International Relations Department.

ULS was represented by University President Rev. Fr. Franklin G. Picio, PhD; Vice President for Academic Affairs Madelyn B. Estacio, PhD.; Vice President for Administration Rev. Fr. Pedro Q. Dolar, MS, MA; University Chaplain Rev. Fr. Joseph Christian Pilotin, MS, MA; along with selected deans and office heads.

The event was followed by a cultural show at lunch and a city tour in the afternoon.
