The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) Instructional Media Center recently hosted the ULS Library Bookfair 2024, a highlight of the 90th National Book Week Celebration. Held from November 26-29, 2024, at the ULS Graduate School Library, the event was themed “Magbasa, Mangarap, Magdiwang!”

The bookfair featured a wide range of books from renowned book dealers, including BIGFAITH TRADING, CD BOOKS INTERNATIONAL, INC., WISEMAN’S BOOKTRADING, INC., INTERNATIONAL BOOK ROYALE, INC., EESM BOOK STORE, SERV ENTERPRISES, GREAT BOOKS TRADING, NEW CENTURY BOOKS, BELVIEW CO., INC., and FOREFRONT BOOK CO., INC. Students, faculty, staff, parents, and book enthusiasts had the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of titles, from academic textbooks to captivating novels.

The fair showcased a comprehensive collection of books, encompassing academic references, research materials, literary classics, contemporary fiction, and non-fiction titles. Partnering with renowned publishers and local bookstores, the event offered exclusive discounts and highlighted the latest book releases, catering to a diverse range of interests. It attracted a diverse crowd, with students, faculty, and staff eager to expand their knowledge and fuel their intellectual curiosity. Nursing and pharmacy students were spotted browsing through shelves filled with relevant textbooks and reference materials, while engineering and literature enthusiasts discovered inspiring works of fiction and nonfiction.

The ULS Library Bookfair 2024 was a celebration of reading, creativity, and imagination. By providing access to a vast array of books, the event aimed to inspire a love for learning and foster a vibrant reading culture within the ULS community.
