To pursue the mission dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and Christian formation of the Filipino Youth, the Human Development Center, an integral part of the academic community of the University of La Salette, Inc., operates with the belief that:

                                Every person is unique and has worth as an individual. He is considered as an equal not as a person inferior. He is better able to confront himself, others and his environment with courage and determination towards his own becoming. Based on this respect and value of the individual, this Center offers him guidance not to overwhelm nor serve as a crutch. In a true human encounter, we plan courses of action letting him play the major parts and be responsible for his own choices. Most of all, we allow him to make mistakes and profit from them; and reinforce him when he does well.
