The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS), through the College of Medicine and Allied Medical Programs (CMAMP) and its Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program, recorded 224 successful blood donors during “Project Bleed: 30th Dugong Saletino Mobile Blood Donation” held on September 18 at the ULS Salettinian Mission Complex, as part of the university’s 74th Feast Day celebrations.

Jefren Lloyd B. Gonzales, RMT, LPT, coordinated the blood donation drive in collaboration with the Southern Isabela Medical Center (SIMC) Laboratory Department. 

Members of the CMAMP Volunteers Association and the Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students–ULS Chapter (PHISMETS-ULS) also assisted in registration and post-donation activities.

The donated blood will be turned over to SIMC for its blood supply and use in providing medical services to patients requiring blood transfusion.

Dugong Saletino, now on its 30th implementation, forms part of the university’s community health and voluntary blood donation initiatives.
