The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) has officially adopted Microsoft Office 365 as its campus-wide platform for communication, collaboration, and productivity. This transformative initiative, approved by University President Rev. Fr. Franklin G. Picio, MS, PhD, marks a major step in enhancing the university’s digital infrastructure and academic services.
Through the Microsoft 365 Education license, every ULS student, faculty, and staff member now receives a personalized email address under the official university domain (@uls.edu.ph), ensuring secure, professional, and consistent communication across all departments and learning environments.
The platform provides access to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the full suite of Office applications—enabling seamless collaboration, cloud-based file sharing, and hybrid learning support.
“This initiative empowers our academic community to work smarter and stay connected,” said Dr. Madeilyn Estacio, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “The official ULS email accounts will also strengthen our digital identity and streamline communication within and beyond the university.”
To support the rollout, Dr. Bien Abad Jr., project lead, facilitated a focused training program available in both in-person and self-paced formats. The sessions, held every Friday from October 10 to 24, 2025, have been successfully completed, equipping office heads, deans, faculty, and staff with the skills to maximize Microsoft 365’s collaboration tools—especially Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
This initiative also aligns with ULS’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
