Salettinian Radiologic Students Receive PML and Rensol Academic Scholarship

Santiago City, Cagayan Valley – Award-winning provider of community non-invasive diagnostic services in partnership with the National Health Service and “A Service that is Above and Beyond”, Rensol Recruitment and Consulting, Inc. have awarded academic scholarships to two promising Radiologic Technology students from the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS).

Angella Divarra and Christala Abaya, both first-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology program under the College of Medicine and Allied Medical Programs, received scholarship packages that cover tuition fees for the entire four-year program, with increasing amounts each year; 1st year (Maximum of 50,000.00), 2nd Year (Maximum of 50,000.00), 3rd year (Maximum of 70,000.00), and 4th year (Maximum of 100,000.00). Additionally, the students will receive a monthly stipend of 5,000 pesos for up to 10 school months. The scholarships were initiated by Physiological Measurements Ltd, a UK-based provider of non-invasive diagnostic services, to give back to the communities where the company has operated.

ULS is highly credible for the scholarship program due to its strong track record having achieved exemplary performance in recent national licensure examinations. The university was ranked third in the December 2022 X-ray Technologist Licensure Examination and ninth in the June 2023 Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination. Notably, ULS achieved a 100% passing rate for its students in the Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination, securing the top ranking in Cagayan Valley. The selected grantees, Divarra and Abaya, demonstrated exceptional academic performance, financial need, and a strong commitment to their studies having met all the standard qualifications of the scholarship selection process set by PML and Rensol.

RENSOL Managing Director Arnold R. Mamaclay, ULS alumnus and a former president of ULS Student Executive Council, expressed his desire to give back to his alma mater and the community.
