ULS Benchmarks at USLT, Joins CEAP Regional Convention 2026

Representatives from the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) took part in a benchmarking activity at the University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao (USLT) and joined the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Regional Convention 2026.

On July 13, ULS visited USLT for a benchmarking focused on Quality Assurance, Community Engagement, and Student Services. Both universities exchanged insights on accreditation processes, student development programs, community extension initiatives, and quality assurance practices.

Representing ULS during the benchmarking activity were Queenne Kimverlee C. Landingin, Director of Quality Assurance Office; Bernard Joseph L. Ariola, Director of the La Salette Pananagutan Center (LSPC); Christian Paul R. Torres, Director of the Office of Prefect Discipline; Jaypee Fernan M. Ramirez, Extension Coordinator of the College of Business Education; Don Sergs Elyser A. Laureta, Quality Assurance member; Dominick R. Domingo, Extension Coordinator of the College of Teacher Education; Shampaine Diana Rose R. Andaya, Quality Assurance member and Program Coordinator for English; and Jaycell A. Tucay, Quality Assurance member and Program Coordinator for Physical Education.

On July 14, the delegation joined Catholic educators and school administrators from across Region II during the CEAP Regional Concention 2026, hosted by Saint Paul University Philippines with the theme, “Newness in Catholic Education: Charting a Constellation of Hope.”

Most Rev. Jose Elmer Imas Mangalinao, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Bayombong, presided over the Eucharistic Celebration during the assembly. In his homily, he urged Catholic educators to remain steadfast in upholding truth, saying, “Stand for truth when the rest applaud for falsehood..

The assembly also included a keynote address titled “AI with Intention, Education with Hope: Forming Human Persons in an Algorithmic Age,” which focused on the role of Catholic education amid technological developments and the increasing influence of artificial intelligence on learning environments.
