ULS, DLSU‑D Benchmark Religious Education Practices, Formalize Partnership Through MOU

The Religious Education Departments of the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) and De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU‑D) conducted a collaborative benchmarking activity on June 30, aimed at exchanging institutional best practices and instructional strategies.

Administrators and educators from both universities attended the activity and presented their approaches to Religious Education.

During the open forum, delegates raised questions and shared insights on institutional instruction, policies, and practices.

Following the morning session, the DLSU-D delegates were escorted on an immersive cultural and spiritual tour in the afternoon. The itinerary included the ULS Miraculous Medal Chapel, the Salettinian Complex Chapel, and the ULSHS Heritage Chapel. The visitors also toured historic landmarks, including the Saint James Parish Church and the Chapel of the Transfiguration at Dariuk Hill, before concluding the trip with a visit to the Magat Dam in the municipality of Ramon, Isabela.

Moreover, delegates from both universities later gathered in the university gymnasium for a basketball exhibition game. The friendly match served as a lighthearted team-building activity, promoting camaraderie, wellness, and sportsmanship.

The intensive benchmarking event officially concluded with a dinner and a socialization night. This gathering allowed the delegates and hosts to interact even more, exchange personal reflections, and further deepen the networks forged throughout the day.

This collaborative initiative marks a significant step forward for both ULS and DLSU-D. By merging their instructional strengths and institutional values, both universities are better equipped to deliver innovative, impactful, and values-driven religious education.
