Three delegates from the University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) participated in the Training and Workshop on Statistics in Research Methodology held at The VIP Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City last March 26-28, 2026.
Kristine Jean G. Salvia, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Teacher Education, Cherry Amor V. Ariola, MAEd, faculty from the College of Teacher Education, and Princess Jhoie C. Corpuz, MAEd, statistician from the ULS Research and Development Office, represented the school and underwent the discussion and workshops on advanced statistical analysis tools.




Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP), a free open-source statistical software, was used in the training for analyzing data, testing hypothesis, and selecting appropriate methodologies.
The Philippine Association of Institutions for Research Inc., a non-profit organization with over 148 member institutions, organized the specialized training, together with the Association of Scholarly Editors, Inc., to help participants gain practical skills in conducting data analysis using JASP for more efficient research process.
