The University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) has officially subscribed to Turnitin, a globally recognized platform for promoting academic integrity and originality in scholarly work. This strategic initiative, backed by university leadership, underscores ULS’s unwavering commitment to ethical research, responsible scholarship, and quality education.
Earlier this month, designated Turnitin administrators from ULS attended a series of online onboarding sessions hosted by Turnitin. These sessions provided essential training on the platform’s features, administrative functions, and implementation strategies. By participating in these sessions, ULS administrators are now better equipped to support faculty and students in using Turnitin effectively to uphold academic integrity and enhance research quality.
Under this subscription, faculty and students across all departments will gain access to Turnitin’s powerful originality checking and AI-powered feedback tools. These features will enable instructors to guide students in developing responsible writing habits and support learners in enhancing the quality of their academic outputs.
“This is a major step forward in cultivating a culture of honesty and excellence in academic writing,” said Dr. Belinda A. Ramos, MSPH, FPAMS, Director of the Research and Development Office. “Turnitin will support our faculty in guiding students toward responsible research practices and original thinking.”
