ULS hosts orientation for new studes

SANTIAGO CITY – University of La Salette, Inc., staff, and administrations welcomed its new batch of students with an orientation program at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) this on February 7, 2025. The event was conducted to acquaint newcomers with the institution’s policy, vision, mission, educational philosophy, and to assure the students that they will not regret choosing the university.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Madeilyn B. Estacio, PHD, commenced the orientation with her opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to the new Salettinians and encouraging them to uphold the policies and principles of the university. “Once you decided to become a member of the family, you must embrace these policies,” she said, explaining how the institutional policies help their students become successful.

The program outlined the university’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to learning, personal growth, and community engagement, which have been the foundation of ULS. Students were also briefed on the university’s code of conduct, campus resources, student support services, and extracurricular opportunities that can help students during their time in the institution. Safety and security protocols were also included, ensuring that students are aware of the measures in place to maintain a secure campus environment.

Ariola, LPT, CHRA), and Educational Management Information Systems. Other discussions were Student Discipline, Library Services, Health Services, and Safety and Security.

A campus tour wrapped up the event, led by the members of the student council, giving the new students a chance to familiarize themselves with the facilities and services available to them.
