PRC Conducts Virtual Monitoring for ULS BSCE Program

The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) conducted a virtual monitoring of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program of the University of La Salette, Inc. on March 10, 2024, at the Executive Boardroom, Ina ng Pag-asa Building and simultaneous sessions in different laboratories of BSCE program. This comprehensive approach allowed the PRC representatives to assess the program’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, facilities, and overall compliance with PRC regulations.

Engr. Genesis S. Jose, MSEM, Dean of the College of Engineering, commenced the virtual monitoring  by introducing the members of the Civil Engineering program to the members of the board: Civil Engineering Program Coordinator, Engr. Rema A. Ariola, Ph.D.; Laboratory Director, Laila Sanchez,  MAEd; and the faculty members of BSCE program. 

Madeilyn B. Estacio, Ph.D., ULS Vice President for Academic Affairs presented the PRC Board of Civil Engineering in her welcome remarks; Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, Chairperson of PRC Board of Civil Engineering,  Engr. Romeo A. Estañero, Ph.D.,

Engr. Pericles P. Dakay, Ph.D., and Jack A. Wassig, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer – Regulation Division.

Through inspection and/or assessment, the activity sought to provide assurance that the BSCE program of the University of La Salette, Inc. continually complies with the relevant Professional Regulatory Law and PRC standards.
