PAMET-Cagayan spearheads regional stint

TUGUEGARAO CITY – Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) – Cagayan Chapter held the first Medical Technology Interschool Team Building Activity at the Cagayan State University (CSU) – Andrews Campus Gymnasium as part of the national celebration for the 55th Founding Anniversary of PAMET and the 47th Medical Technology Week in the Philippines last September 26, 2019.

The theme of the said activity was “Sustaining Excellence, Inspiring the Future” which focuses on the need for quality service delivery on medical laboratories.

University of La Salette, Inc. (ULS) together with University of Perpetual Help System Laguna – Cauayan Campus, International School of Asia and the Pacific – Tabuk Campus, Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines, University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, St. Paul University Philippines and CSU-Andrews campus were the schools present during the said event.

Natasha Sampaio, BMLS 1A and Jerson Garcia, BMLS 4 of ULS won as 2nd Runner-Up and 1st Runner-Up respectively at the PAMET Ambassador and Ambassadress pageant.

“This kind of event is very helpful for us to have great connections with other medical schools and for the students to be trained and exposed in such competitive environments.

We are privileged to be invited to such events.,” Marisa S. Tan, RMT, RN, MSPH, Head of the Medical Laboratory Science Program of the university, said.
