ULS Crowns its First Mr. & Ms. ECO-SALETINO

As part of the 65th founding anniversary, the Office of Student Services and Affairs in coordination with the Student Executive Council included the Search for Mr. and Ms. Eco-Saletino 2017 on the string of activities to be participated by all the colleges which happened last September 19, 2017.

After series of elimination and three sets of question and answer, two names grabbed the spotlight. Ramone Alfonso Esnaola, a third year Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) bagged the title, Mr. Eco-Saletino 2017 while a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology student from the College of Accountancy (COA) in the name of Gia Marie Huelgas won the title, Ms. Eco-Saletino 2017. While a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology student from the College of Accountancy (COA) in the name of Gia Marie Huelgas won the title, Ms. Eco-Saletino 2017.

The winners are said to be the new voices of saving our nature relevant in upholding our Salettinian identity of being a steward of God’s creation.

Meanwhile, Angela Sophia Santiago, a Political Science student from CAS was hailed First Runner-Up together with Glenn Mhar Balmonte, a Bachelor in Elementary Education student from the College of Education. For Second Runner-Up, both were from the College of Business Administration, Alexis Navarro, a Tourism student for female category and Allison Mendiola, a Marketing major for male category.
