The College of Arts and Science aims to:

1. form a Catholic Christian conscience based on the religious, theological and social teachings of the Church;

2. provide the students opportunities to articulate their values critical analytical and evaluatory responses and reactions to situations, literary works of writers, thereby fostering aesthetic appreciation, creativity and art;

3. equip the students with the knowledge, skills of modern science and mathematics and to form in them intellectual inquiry manifested research, social awareness and Christian values essential to human development; and

4. expose the students to various philosophical, religious, ethical, and literary thoughts which may serve as guides in the formulation of their personal values as well as their own philosophies in life.
