Santiago City, Isabela – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED R02) recently conducted an on-site monitoring and evaluation at the University of La Salette, Inc.
On October 29-30, 2024, the visit involved a comprehensive evaluation of the institution’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, facilities, and overall operations. The purpose of this visit was to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established Policies, Standards and Guidelines set by the commission.
CHED Educational Supervisors led the on-site monitoring and evaluation process at the University of La Salette, Inc. During the program preliminaries, ULS Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Madeilyn B. Estacio emphasized the institutions’ commitment to transformative quality education and Dr. Jocelyn P. Carag, along with her co-supervisors Engr. Joven B. Jacinto and Mr. Rey Tuddao, oversaw the assessment. Dr. Carag stressed the importance of monitoring the progress of CHED recommendations related to the educational offerings, programs, and services at ULS.
To ensure quality and accountability in higher education, CHED conducts periodic on-site evaluations of institutions. The CHED monitoring team looked into specific areas such as administration, faculty, curriculum and instruction, and services and facilities among others.
